I am currently serving as the Communications Manager for the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Medicine, specifically for the Department of Family Medicine. The position involves considerable judgment and discretionary decision-making in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of internal and external communications initiatives that are designed to help the department achieve its goals and build positive relations and profile internally, locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally. During my time at TeamLinkt, I was able to play a part in growing the app from 1,000 users to nearly 2 Million. During my time I was involved with nearly every department of the company including customer success, account management, sales, marketing, on-boarding, client retention, tech support, interviewing, hiring & training employees, company culture, CRM implementation & management, and more. In most cases, this included working as the only person in said department, building processes, hiring & training staff, and then eventually managing the department.

- Manager of 100 of TeamLinkt’s Key Accounts (including National & State Governing Bodies)
- Lead full implementation of HubSpot software (previously on Zoho)
- Lead the full day to day operations in HubSpot, including building all automations, sales sequences, deal pipelines, reports and dashboards.

Customer Success Manager

Although the job title was Customer Success Manager, I was responsible for essentially all business related parts of the business. Often times, I was the sole employee for a whole department, then eventually hired, trained and managed a new employee as the company grew.
This role included performing all business operations tasks to keep the company alive and customers happy. This included:
- Performing all customer success and technical support tasks as a team of one
- Performing all sales tasks as a team of one, until eventually hiring, training and supervising a sales development representative.
- Onboarding each new client to the TeamLinkt software, which included training calls, importing of data, navigating many bugs and issues, and doing whatever was needed to train and retain clients.
- Navigating support to all clients for the 2020 pandemic as a team of one, which included issuing thousands of refunds for registrants. During this time, I was able to retain all major clients on the platform.
- Performing all marketing duties for TeamLinkt as a team of one, before eventually hiring and training a marketing manager to resume duties.
- Full implementation of HubSpot CRM as a team of one. This also included managing ongoing operations of the CRM.
- Responsible for all human resources for business department employees, including job posting, interviewing, hiring, training, and vacation approvals/tracking.
